Resources from September PEACH Meeting

After a great turnout at the September 12th meeting, many attendees were asking about the resources that were mentioned, both by the panelists and audience members.  Below is a partial list and we will update the list, as needed:

Curriculum: (Easy Peasy Homeschool   )  (free app for Android and Apple devices available also) (MIT Open Courseware)

Math: (Timez Attack)

Reading:  (best phonics printable charts I have ever seen), spelling lists, printable readers for early readers


Writing: (Sign up for Julie Bogart’s free daily emails -revolutionizes how you think about teaching writing.  Look for coupons to buy material at a much reduced price.)

Art: (art lessons; mini-marshmallow ones are free, but it is worth signing up for a 3 year paid subscription.  Look for coupons.)

Foreign Language:  (free app for Android and Apple devices available also)
Mango Languages (free online through many library systems; check your library for availability)

Other Resources:
Library (use online resources for eBooks, auditory books)
Managers of Their Homes (book on schedules by Steven & Teri Maxwell) (printables, schedules, and various resources) (make your own word search puzzles)
