PEACH Leadership Team

Introducing: The PEACH 2013-2014 Leadership Team

We are the Raber family- Kenneth and Susan, with our four energetic and imaginative kids (one of whom is no longer a kid). We also provide a home for an elderly-but-feisty mom, and an attack Yorkie named Rikki Tikki Tavi. We have been dedicated homeschoolers since 1994, and have graduated our firstborn, who has gone on to serve in the military and start a life of his own. We are very happy to volunteer some time and energy to serve as President, and our daughter Emma Jo edits the monthly newsletter.
photo-3978692a Welcome!  We are the Bellman familyEd and Heather.  Our children, Vanessa and Garrison, are a bit camera shy…  We have been on our homeschool journey since 2004 and are excited as our daughter is preparing to graduate this coming year!  Five years ago, we left suburban life behind and moved to Wilmington, where we have fallen in love with our close-knit community. About to embark on our first year serving as Meetings VP, we are thrilled about the possibilities that exist in this day and age to encourage homeschool families. Our meetings are free and open to the public, so we urge you to attend and see for yourself how PEACH can strengthen your own homeschool journey.
Laceys We are Tim and Sandy Lacey.  We have homeschooled our six children over the past 20 years. Four have graduated.  Our oldest two are married and we have two wonderful grandchildren.  Tim is retired Air Force and is currently self employed working as a Network Administrator at Wright-Patterson AFB and teaches Network Security at AFIT.  We loved our time as an Air Force family, living in and exploring different parts of the country.  We have been a part of PEACH for about 9 years and feel that now is our time to give back and serve the home school community.  Tim and I will be Membership VPs.  We look forward to getting to know you and encouraging you in the calling of homeschooling your children.
Jaime Treadwell We are the Treadwell family; Eric, Jaime, and Benjamin.  Eric works as an engineer with the Air Force, and is pursuing a writing career in his spare time.  Jaime is a former public school teacher, specializing in math.  Now, she splits her time between homeschooling Benjamin, now 7, volunteering at church, and cranking out delicious baked goods for whomever will eat them.  Jaime is excited, and slightly nervous, about taking on this new role as Activities VP in PEACH!
We are the Simons Family: Chris, Denise, Kathleen and Abby. We are thrilled to be serving as Treasurer this year. Chris, a former student at Baptist Bible College in Missouri who proudly served in the Air Force, is now an auctioneer of commercial facilities. His family has been in Xenia at least 5 generations, where he grew up hunting, breaking horses and fishing in the local creeks and rivers. I, on the other hand, was pure city mouse, working for a major Wall Street investment firm. God had great plans in store for us and four years ago I quit my job, and began homeschooling Kathleen and Abigail full time.
DSC_1008-001 We are the McCain family: Alan, Alise, and our three children.  This will be our 18th year of homeschooling, as well as our 18th year with PEACH. We are so thankful for the part that PEACH has played in our homeschooling journey!Alise served PEACH for five years as Activities Vice President, and this is her first year as PEACH Secretary. She has many fond memories of homeschooling, including snuggling with her children to read books, doing unit studies, going on hundreds of field trips, and being able to share life with the children as they grew up.  She is happy to serve PEACH again this year.
